Bossa Productions to raise Money for Ronald McDonald House at its Calgary Sports Collectors Show

Vancouver, March 22, 2010 - Bossa Productions the largest organizer of sports collector events in Western Canada is going to support local charities by raising funds at its semi-annual Sports Collectors Fanfest (www.bossashows.com) in Calgary on May 15 and 16.

The family event will take place at the Deerfoot Inn & Casino, in Calgary and is setup like a tradeshow. Over 100 Vendors from across North-America will exhibit their sports collectibles on over 12,000 square feet contributing by exhibiting, selling and trading sports memorabilia.

The show is open to the public and an admission will be charged to attend. Ronald Mc Donald House Southern Alberta will be the fundraising beneficiary of this event.

The Fanfest will feature Tony Esposito & Paul Henderson the 1972 Canada Hockey dream team. Partial proceeds from the signing as well as the silent auction will be donated to Ronald McDonald House Southern Alberta to support their fundraising efforts.

Bossa Productions to raise Money for Charity at its Vancouver Sports Collectors Show this weekend

Vancouver, March 22, 2010 - Bossa Productions the largest organizer of sports collector events in Western Canada is going to support local charities by raising funds at its semi-annual Sports Collectors Fanfest (www.bossashows.com) in Vancouver this Saturday, March 27^th 10am to 5pm & Sunday, March 28^th 10am to 4pm.

The family event will take place at the Croatian Cultural Centre on 3250 Commercial Drive, Vancouver, B.C. and is setup like a tradeshow. Over 100 Vendors from across North-America will exhibit their sports collectibles on over 12,000 square feet contributing by exhibiting, selling and trading sports memorabilia.

The show is open to the public and an admission will be charged to attend. Canuck Place Children’s Hospice will be the fundraising beneficiary of this event.

The Fanfest will feature Grant Fuhr Edmonton Oilers Legend & member of the Hockey Hall of Fame, & Kirk McLean, former Vancouver Canuck who led them to their historic Stanley Cup run in 1994. Partial proceeds from the signing as well as the silent auction will be donated to Canuck Place Children’s Hospice to support their fundraising efforts.

The Bossa Shows provide an opportunity for people to be among like minded individuals and to meet with sports celebrities on a face to face basis.

About Canuck Place: Canuck Place Children's Hospice provides specialized pediatric palliative care for children living with a life-threatening illness and support for their families throughout British Columbia.
